CompuCycle Presents Recycling Saturdays: Cinderella Cinderfella Project
Bring your glass, paper, plastic and aluminum to a recycling station at Discovery Green.It is located at the intersection of Mc Kinney and Crawford.
During the month of March the Cinderella Cinderfella Project, Inc. will be on-site during Recycling Saturdays to collect formal dresses, shoes and other "wish list" items to give a memory of kindness, caring and friendship to high school seniors with emotional, financial and family challenges. Wish list items include: snacks, gift cards, new make-up, perfumes & colognes, aftershave/shaving kits, hairspray, shampoo/conditioner, ladies evening shoes (high heels-strappy), glitzy jewelry, evening bags, and toothbrushes/toothpaste/mouthwash.
Please note: Recycling container is provided as a service by the City of Houston Solid Waste Management. The schedule can be subject to change, but park staff will accept your recycling on Saturdays during the hours of 10 am to 2 pm regardless of whether the container is on site.

Grab a paintbrush -- we'll supply the pinot -- and be inspired by the lush gardens surrounding the Grace Event Lawn to create your own work of art. Opera to Go! presents high-energy opera in a fully-staged, 45-minute performance. Sung in English, this opera is designed to engage first-time audiences. The Clever Wife is a Chinese folktale set in ancient China. It's the story of a clever young woman who must rescue her husband from a cranky Magistrate's impossible tasks. 10 am - 1 pm Fairy Tale Blasts! are an extension of HGOco's Storybook Opera program. Artists read from popular Fairy Tale books, and sing and engage the audience throughout the performance. 1 - 2 pm.
